Finding the right type of childcare to suit you and your child is really important.
Here are some things to ask about.
- At what times will I need childcare?
- Where do I want childcare? Should it be near my workplace, near my home, near my place of study or near my child's school?
- What sort of environment will be best for my child? Should it be in someone else's home, with lots of other children or in smaller environment?

The government is doubling this entitlement to 30 hours a week (for up to 38 weeks a year) from September 2017. Find out more on the County Council website.
